Warpaint 57.Handley Page Hampden
The first Hampden production aircraft flew in May 1938 and on 28th June 1938 it became the first aircraft to be christened by Viscount Hampden at a ceremony at Radlett in Hertfordshire, The name was taken front the original John Hampden the 17th century defender of civil liberties.
