Description

The Mk.2 is a second generation to the former Siman 1, with a large variety of improvements such as the new automatic transmission, new armour, turret sides, side skirts and a new fire control system. The Merkava Mk.2 is fitted with the 105mm main gun. The Merkava Mk.2 has been in constant service since the mid 80’s with improvements over time.
