It was October 16, 1941. 19th Panzer Division of Lower Saxon got stuck near the town Iljinskoe, which was the heart of Moscow’s first defense zone. Bunkers opposite was occupied by pupils and aspirants of red military school from Podolsk.
They literally destroyed by gunfire the assault of 5th Company from 27th Regiment. They destroyed twelve tanks.
