Description
Panzerwrecks 1 was the first in a series of books about destroyed, surrendered and abandoned German tanks and vehicles 1944-45. Every volume contains about 100 rare and unpublished black and white photographs, the vast majority of which are printed as large as possible. In addition, each volume has several featured vehicles or units. In this first volume, we have the only known period photo of the Panther II, plus photos of Flakpanzer Ostwind, Elefant, steel-wheel Panthers, Beutepanzers including Sherman VC and much more.
This 2021 reprint includes a separate index which shows German vehicles, German units and locations. Other than tidying up the layout & change of font, there are no revisions to the book.
